We always found ourselves doubting something we want to do or someone is doubting you to do something, you don’t play down the doubt feeling and the way you treat your doubt could be the decider whether you going to be a success or not toward the doubts.

Myself for an instance, come from a non-IT background doing all the IT skill and work, I always facing the situation I doubt doing something, “Is this going to works?”, “Is this the correct decision?” and a lot more. You also facing doubt from other people as well, “you don’t have the skill to succeed in this industry”, “you cannot do that and this”, &, etc.

Hence, I always treat Doubt as “Pull Factors” to do more and to learn more and gradually overcome the doubters. I think, if I treat doubt as to my enemy or negative thing, I could fail, at least I overcome it by doing it, if I get lucky I probably get something good of it, or if I not lucky enough, I become wiser to the doubt, with this mindset I always learning and improving. That’s why I can survive what I’m doing now.

How to learn and improve?

Self-Development(Daily)

You can learn what you are lacking and what you want to add to your current skillset, by doing this you get in the right mindset and focus on how to overcome what you doubt. You can learn from various mediums such as books, audio, tutorial video. There is plenty of sources whether paid or free tutorial on the internet you can learn and keep improving.

Embrace Fails and Mistakes

While you learn or doing something new, don’t easily get fed up or stress out whenever you find yourself failing on something. Treat your failures as your milestone or new skills, they said: “fast fails, fast learn”. Hence whenever you failed, keep learning from it and not stop or let it be your stumble block to learn more.

Goals with Deadlines

If you not focus and not know where you are going, you never get there. Set clear and specific goals with datelines. By doing this, we always have our short-term and long-term goals, which can be our guideline whenever we lost.

Model Someone Successful

Find someone who has achieved what you want to achieve, use their successful story, and model them but do it in your own way. I could possibly do it more than them.

Get A Mentor

A mentor whom a professional has already achieved a lot and can hold you accountable in one setting. By doing this, you have your guidance whenever you seek the answer in learning a new thing or doing something.

Conclusion

You don’t need someone to tell you when you ready, because different people have a different timeline of success and method to do something, so if you allow the doubters to control you, you never learn something.
